Kathleen Merriman,
Client Service Advisor
Kathleen is a licensed financial advisor with six years of hands-on experience helping clients understand their investment options and achieve their goals. Altogether she has 20 years of experience in the financial industry, having worked in budgeting, accounting, auditing, and a variety of other roles before becoming an advisor. She holds certifications as an Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor (APMA®) and a Certified Military Financial Advisor (CMFA™) and is currently working toward her Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.
Kathleen is a distinguished U.S. Air Force veteran. An officer and navigation instructor on the RC-135 Rivet Joint reconnaissance aircraft, she participated in over 100 peacetime and combat missions on four continents. She is an active member and former vice president of the Military Officer Association of Sarasota.
A lifetime learner, Kathleen holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Texas A&M University-Commerce, and a bachelor’s degree and MBA in accounting from Bellevue University.
Kathleen says she loves living in the “vacation oasis” of Florida. Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her three dogs. Her other passions include traveling, history, culture, getting to know people, helping others, and Bible study.
